Dr. Sayandev Mukherjee
Dr. Sayandev Mukherjee is an expert in applying Artificial Intelligence-including Generative AI and Agentic AI-to both wired and wireless communication networks, spanning the entire stack from the physical layer to applications and standards design. He is passionate about brainstorming innovative ideas for products, services, and technologies, and loves to lead teams to develop these concepts from initial vision through proof-of-concept and beyond.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mukherjee has specialized in deep learning, wireless and wired communications, and natural language processing, with a current focus on Generative AI. He has worked with multiple generations of 3GPP (mobile wireless) and DOCSIS (wired) standards. Dr. Mukherjee holds over 25 issued patents, has published 80 peer-reviewed papers in leading journals and conferences, and is the author of two books published by Cambridge University Press.
